Hey, Girl Hey!

I’m a wife, a mom of two, a creative, a traveler, and a nap queen. But more importantly? I’m someone who’s walked the same road you’re walking now.
If you’re here, chances are you’re doing all the things — working from home, raising tiny humans, trying to be a good partner, friend, and maybe still holding on to pieces of the old you that you don’t want to lose.
You’re tired. You’re juggling. You’re wondering if it’s possible to keep your dreams alive while keeping the kids fed.
And the truth is…
Yes, it is.
It’s not perfect. It’s not easy. But it’s absolutely possible — and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’m a wife, a mom of two, a creative, a traveler, and a nap queen. But more importantly? I’m someone who’s walked the same road you’re walking now.
Back in 2013, I started this blog to track my travels and live a healthier lifestyle. I was excited, motivated, and full of plans. But like so many moms, life happened — and I started putting everything and everyone else first.
I lost my rhythm.
I lost motivation.
And slowly, I started losing touch with the parts of myself that lit me up.
Fast forward: I got married, had my daughter, then had our surprise COVID baby (who’s now running the house — no childcare yet). My daughter’s in school, but I’m still at home, working, managing, and trying to breathe between responsibilities.
Sound familiar?
Why This Space Exists
This space exists because you deserve more than survival mode.
You deserve to eat well (without guilt).
You deserve to travel (solo or with your kids).
You deserve to feel creative, empowered, and seen — as a woman, not just as “mom.”
Everything I share here — from sewing projects to travel tips to funny mom moments and self-care reminders — is designed to help you reconnect with the version of yourself you miss most.
The one who still dreams, creates, explores, and lives out loud.
What This Community Will Always Be
A place where you feel seen.
A space where you can dream again.
A reminder that you matter just as much as the people you’re taking care of.
Whether you’re here for inspiration, real talk, or practical mom hacks — you’re in the right place.
Let’s Stay Connected
If you’re ready to stop feeling like you’re doing it all and still not doing enough, come join the community.
You’re not alone — and you never have to be.
Let’s eat, travel, live, and thrive — together.
Eat. Travel. Live.

Eat
If you’re trying to eat better while still loving food, I get it. I’m a picky eater who’s trying to break up with fast food and rediscover balance. I’m not here to shame you — just to walk alongside you as we learn new habits, one honest meal at a time.

Travel
You don’t need a passport stamp to get your groove back — but if you want one? Let’s go. I’ve visited 17 countries and 30+ U.S. cities, and whether you’re a solo traveler, family vacationer, or local explorer, I believe travel changes everything — especially the way we see ourselves.

Live
Living well isn’t about a perfect house or polished routine. It’s about faith, family, creativity, and creating a life that feels good from the inside out. Whether I’m sewing a new fit (tall girl struggles, anyone?), taking a 20-minute power nap, or just laughing at toddler chaos — I’m learning to live in the now, not the “when it’s perfect.”

Yesssss….I’m super excited to see your post hun!!! And, I hope they will help guide me to better eating habits!! Because like Toya, I have an crazy addiction to hot wings as well as buffalo chicken dip and publix vanilla cupcakes with the cream cheese icing, lol. But, I really hope you’re dishes will inspire me to cook more and bring my eating out habits down to a minimum! Good luck hun!!! ???
LOL. . . I too know about Publix cupcakes:) Thanks, girly!
Really proud of you. I need to get on the ball too LOL.
Thanks! I know you will eventually :)
Well, I don’t know about anybody else – but i’m inspired! It DOES take more work to eat healthier and I’ve got quite a few guilty pleasures myself! (Honey Hot Wings from the Ave and Donuts from Randy’s are at the top of my list!) Your story is going to help so many others because we all have these kind of struggles. Go head Honey!! So next year don’t act – Remember you promised me a night out on the town and you know I’ll be ready!! :-)
Did I really promise you a night out? . . . I guess I can make that happened. :) Thanks, again for the support!
